Working in the care sector for over 12 years, I have a background of working with vulnerable people in many different settings such as: residential care, domiciliary settings, mental health, learning disabilities, domiciliary care and dementia. In previous management and supervisory roles, I developed positive working structures and implemented systems which work to protect vulnerable people from abuse and harm.
As a previous Registered Manager with extensive knowledge of CQC regulations and legislation within Health & Social Care, Medication Level 5 trained and a safeguarding lead, I have gained a significant amount of experience and also assisted to set up a new companies with other employer's.
Through hard work, passion and commitment I have implemented robust risk assessments and care plans to ensure that care staff were able to deliver safe and effective care.
I believe strongly in promoting individuality and through working with our clients. I ensure the care planning process is positive and that the customer is always at the centre of any decision made around their needs and encourage involvement from their loved ones..

I always strive for excellence and have a passion to ensure the delivery of care and support is to a high standard and that everyone should be treat with dignity and respect. Establishing and managing a Dementia Unit for several years I have a particular passion for Dementia Care.
